Many believe that employer branding is becoming more and more important in the fight to recruit the best candidates. It’s not something that HR professionals are generally familiar with and quite often believed to be the responsibility of the marketing department! However employer branding may be something we should take more notice of, particularly with the growth in online recruitment.
However we should remember, it’s just as important to paint a realistic picture, otherwise you are very likely to create disillusionment and increase your staff turnover once your new recruits realise the hype didn’t match the reality.
