Misconduct is behaviour that a Company is not prepared to tolerate as it falls outside the norm of what is found acceptable. As a result what is considered to be misconduct may vary somewhat from company to company. Ideally examples of what is and is not acceptable are given by an organisation in their disciplinary procedures.
Poor attitude at work or poor work ethic are the issues that are most complicated to deal with in this area. Many organisations feel that due to the subjective nature of poor attitude it is not something they choose to formally manage through the disciplinary procedure. At Jaluch though, our view is different as we feel poor attitude is at the heart of a great deal of misconduct therefore it would be remiss not to manage it just because it is subjective and vague by nature.
