Morality Clauses
Morality Clauses are clauses inserted into the employment contract and restricts what an employee can/can’t do in their private life.  They are not often used in UK Law and are a bit of a contentious subject!  In order to implement a morality clause, you would need to be able to justify that the company would be adversely affected by the employees actions.  The morality clause must not be discriminatory in any way.  In addition, if the employee worked for a public body, they could claim under the Human Rights Act for breach of the right to respect for private life.
