Outsourcing HR

Jaluch offers HR outsourcing to an increasing number of organisations however, as we have learned time after time, outsourcing to one company is not necessarily the same as outsourcing to another!  So, if this is something that is of interest to you, the following represent a few points to consider before taking the next step:

What are the options for outsourcing?

  1. Outsourcing the entire HR function/department
  2. Outsourcing just one or more HR function e.g. recruitment, legal desk, project work, HR management but not HR administration, HR strategy but not day-to-day HR management etc
  3. Outsourcing only as and when internal resources necessitate extra support

If you outsource, who would do the work?

  • Someone employed by Jaluch, but who is permanently based on your site and recruited specifically to support you or
  • Someone already employed by Jaluch who regularly attends your site but who also works for you from our offices as and when required in between site visits or
  • Someone employed by Jaluch who just occasionally visits your site as and when an issue has arisen and who supports you remotely at other times

What are the benefits?

  • We take on the responsibility for recruitment, training, covering sickness, holidays, maternity etc
  • We train them up to the necessary standard and then ensure an appropriate level of ongoing Continuous Professional Development
  • They are able at all times to tap into the resources/knowledge of the whole Jaluch team in order to support you most effectively at all times
  • All of our advisors/consultants have someone who shadows them, therefore at times of holiday or sickness etc we are able to achieve greater continuity than you might get by employing one person internally

What are the principal obstacles?

  • Greater communication is required during the transition from current arrangements to the new arrangements and also, greater communication subsequently if someone is not permanently based on your site
  • Clarity is crucial in terms of who does what and in particular, the role and responsibilities of line managers - perhaps in a way that hasn't previously been required

Why not give us a call to discuss how we could provide HR outsourcing for you!
