Tribunal Responses

Are you looking to keep an eye on costs at the present time? If so, our HR advisors can provide expert support in:

For around half the price of your average solicitor, we operate much as an internal HR department would do - we debate tribunal issues daily and given that no claim is ever the same, we have a wealth of experience with regards to what to write, how to write it, what to look out for, when it may be best to settle and for how much.

After we have done the tribunal paperwork and progressed a claim to the point at which an advocate needs to be appointed, our associate, Nigel Brain can take over. This will of course only be necessary if you wish to defend your position in the tribunal rather than settle out of court.  Nigel has defended over 400 claims in UK tribunals and has also attended the Employment Appeal Tribunal. Nigel comes very highly recommended by our existing clients who have used his services and he also has a team of associates to draw upon if a different skill set is required from his own.

So if you are faced with an tribunal claim to respond to or if you think that the process you are following may well lead to a claim (some employees make no secret of it!!) then why not get in touch and let us take some of the strain out of the process for you. If you get to us early enough we can also draft you a Compromise Agreement to prevent the tribunal claim ever landing on your desk.
