This assessment we believe is absolutely unique in the UK and relevant for anyone working with employment law in the UK.
In stark contrast to just 10 years ago, in the UK today tens of thousands of HR staff now have HR degrees and other HR qualifications, but these qualifications actually give employers no clue as to an employee's competence in the area of employment law. In fact some three year courses we have come across do not contain even one employment law module!! Unbelievable!
But help is now at hand. Our assessments are available to either individual HR professionals wishing to test their own knowledge or to organisations who wish to use them for testing during recruitment or whilst assessing skills and competencies of existing staff. Each Assessment covers around 40 different areas of employment law and assessment is available at three different levels:
Essential Employment Law
£65 + VAT Appropriate for line managers, HR administrators, HR officers in a non employment law function, training and development professionals
Intermediate Employment Law
£95 + VAT Appropriate for generalist HR professionals, HR directors, staff being trained up in legal advice centres
Advanced Employment Law
£125 + VAT Appropriate for HR professionals who provide line managers and Directors with specific advice on legal matters
Bespoke Employment Law Assessments
If you would like an Assessment tailored to the requirements of your organisation, for example you may wish your staff to be audited on just 30 areas of employment law knowledge, call us to discuss your needs and the associated costs.
Results
Due to an essential part of each assessment being subject to manual rather than automated marking, results will be made available by email one working day after an assessment has been completed online. The reason for maintaining an element of manual marking is that this is the way we believe we can best assess all aspects of employment law knowledge including, for example, the application of that knowledge, which we believe to be fundamental. Certificates of achievement are also available for all staff being assessed.
What next?
Call Jaluch on 01425 479888 to order the number of user ID's and passwords you require at the present time. Staff will then be able to sit the Assessment at a time appropriate to business needs (the Essential Assessment should take no more than 45 minutes to complete).
“I recently took the Employment Law Assessment with Jaluch. Having changed my professional course to HR I felt an assessment of knowledge would be useful for me to determine my training needs. The results allowed me to clearly see my strengths and weaknesses and I have now started to use that information by reading up on various aspects of employment law. For organisations seeking a formative assessment of their staff working in an area affected by employment law, I think this would prove both valuable and cost-effective.” Amanda Quinn, Barclays Bank |
