Snéha - Blue Tulip Training

Snéha Khilay

Snéha founded Blue Tulip Training in 2002. The initial main focus of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion has extended to incorporate Bullying and Harassment issues. Blue Tulip supports organisations in dealing with the statutory requirements, specific to the Equalities Act 2010, especially around implementing: Diversity into Practice and Promoting Dignity at Work.

Snéha has a high level of expertise to deliver in the occasional challenging situations that arise. She has incorporated her philosophy of ‘respect and dignity’ into all training and consultancy work, by communicating effectively, with flair and enthusiasm as well as good interpersonal skills.

Specialisms: Training Programmes in Diversity and Inclusion, Bullying and Harassment, Cultural Diversity, and Conflict Resolution; Diversity Audits; Independent Impartial Investigations and Mediations into allegations of Bullying and Harassment; Diversity Dialogue Sessions with Senior Managers and Board Members

Strengths: Creative, effective, inquisitive, reliable, organised and intuitive.

Interests: Learning to play the saxophone, no easy feat – and hoping to play to a live audience in the near future. Likes to attend unusual art exhibitions.

Favourite phrase: “The art of explanation and the power of inclusion”

Oh and don’t tell anyone but…. Snéha is a connoisseur of all the coffee shops in Watford and St Albans, and some of her most creative ideas have started on paper napkins!

Blue Tulip Training

Blue Tulip Training enjoys working with organisations on developing their diversity strategies; including assessing the situation, making recommendations, facilitating Senior Management/Board meetings. The key aim is to raise the importance of mainstreaming equality, diversity and inclusion throughout organisations.

Blue Tulip Training is actively involved in developing Personal Effectiveness/Personal Development training programmes for Women and Black and Minority Ethnic Staff.

Blue Tulip Training produces a monthly newsletter ‘Essence of Equality’ which includes articles and other relevant information. It has received significant positive feedback.
