Over the past few years Jaluch has regularly run successful seminars on a range of Human Resources topics. From the many people that we have met along the way perhaps the most common piece of feedback we hear is that the seminars are great for networking and sharing ideas with other people doing similar work - something that a lot of people in HR don't get enough of!

As a result we have established our HR Networking Club. Attendance is for members only and is exclusively for HR professionals in management roles. The aim is to provide a friendly atmosphere where people can learn from each other's experiences and become part of a network of peers that can be called up for advice and support.

A typical networking day is structured as follows:

The day starts with coffee and networking between 9.30am and 10.00am and will end at approximately 4.00pm; the day is usually broken down into three main slots:

1. Presentation/Guest Speaker - Topics have included Management Development and preparing for a Tribunal!
2. Question and Answer/Discussion - Our aim is to allow this group to evolve to meet the needs of those involved and as such we encourage members to ponder areas of interest to themselves for future discussion during and following the meetings.
3. Round Table/Open Debate - We believe that the key to the success of this group lies in how best we can add value to each others' businesses through our open discussions of key current issues facing HR. We use the afternoon to network and exchange ideas, prompting discussion with the use of current/controversial articles, real life scenarios (we do ask members to bring their own to share!)
