Menopause awareness eLearning

As required in the UK by ACAS, this eLearning module will provide team leaders and managers with menopause awareness and knowledge so they can support someone who is experiencing the menopause. 

Acas requires training to include: how the law relates to the menopause;  how to talk with and encourage staff to raise any menopause concerns; how different stages and types of menopause can affect staff; what support and workplace changes are available to staff; how to deal with menopause issues sensitively and fairly and how gender identity links to the menopause and why it’s important.

By the end of this module, you will:

• Understand more about the menopause
• Understand how to have conversations with staff about it
• Understand the law in relation to the menopause.

• The law and recommended best practise in relation to the menopause
• The manager’s role when managing someones experiencing the menopause

This course is available as a SCORM file (1.2 or 2004). Unlimited usage with no restrictions on the number of users or duration of use.

Duration

This course takes around 20/25 minutes to complete. You can stop and restart the course as many times as you need to complete. We can accommodate requests for shorter “bite-size” courses, or longer courses. Please see customisation options below.

This is an “off-the-shelf” course, which can be used straight away, but each aspect of the course can be customised if required.
